Volunteering
Volunteer with Friends of Gedling House Woods
We’re always looking for extra hands in the meadows and woods to keep this special place thriving.
When: Saturday mornings, usually around 10am.
Who: Everyone welcome – no special skills required.
What to bring: We provide tools and a quick safety briefing. Sturdy footwear helps…and please pack a bucket of enthusiasm and a generous dollop of willingness. No capes required.
How to get involved:
- Use the Contact Us form on this site, or
- Email members@fghw.org.uk to say you’re interested.
We also run occasional bigger “all-hands” sessions for jobs that need extra people (think meadow raking or path improvements). These are announced first via our member email and shared on our Facebook page — keep an eye there if you’d like to jump in.
Whether you can spare an hour now and then, or prefer the larger sessions, we’d love to hear from you.
Every bit of help makes a difference.
